Shoot schedule · October 28 & 29
Where Joe needs to be.
Two days with Joe. Running and the pool on Wednesday. The office and the gym on Thursday. Orange is Joe's time. Everything else is our crew setting up around him, so when he arrives, we're ready to roll.

Close-ups happen as we go. Shoes, watch, hands, and breath are shot inside each running block, not saved for the end. The wardrobe changes are small on purpose: the run gets match cut across the locations, so it reads as many mornings, not one.

Possible prelight. If the office can let us in Wednesday afternoon after the pool, we light it then and the morning gets easier. The final call sheet will confirm it.
For McKenzie to run by Joe
A few questions.
Nothing here changes the plan. These are the details that let us shape each scene around Joe before we're on set.
Is he comfortable with subtle wardrobe changes on the run?
We'd like to show time passing. We'll match cut the run to show distance, and dedication over time. A change can be as simple as tossing on a light jacket or swapping the shirt.
Is he comfortable opening on him walking out of the office?
The first shot would be Joe stepping out onto Palafox in the dark to start his run. It's a nice way to place him downtown, but we don't have to tie it that closely to the office if he'd rather not.
Can he bring a couple of swim options?
For the pool, if he has them.
Which workouts does he want to do in the gym?
A few examples are enough. We need them to plan the match cuts and split screens with the run and the pool.
Are there any limits he wants us to respect?
We won't overwork him, but we want to know any line he doesn't want to cross before we're on set. For example: no more than 10 laps in the pool, or no more than a certain number of reps in the gym.
Any food or drink he'd like on set?
We'll have it ready for him both days.
Would he like any guidance on wardrobe?
Our notes are on the Wardrobe page if he wants them. The main thing: avoid patterns. And it always helps to have a lighter and a darker option for each setting, so he stands out against the background.
We're shooting the pool and the gym when we are because those are the only blocks of time the venues could give us.
Still being locked
- The run. Palafox Street, Plaza Ferdinand, and Bayview. We're confirming what the city needs from us to film there.
- The pool. UWF. We're confirming the rules for our camera operator in the water.
- Addresses and photos for every location are on the Locations page.
- Backup day. If weather costs us the sunrise run, we reshoot it Friday morning. Sunrise that day is 7:01 AM.
- The office. Address, and whether we can light it Wednesday afternoon.
- The factory. Moves to a later shoot date. It’s not on this schedule.
- A final call sheet with addresses, parking, and wardrobe goes out before the shoot. Times here may shift by a few minutes when it does.
